If you love crochet, you'll definitely love Tunisian Crochet! It's a bit like the love-child of crochet and knitting and it's very addictive! You can create loads of different textures, patterns and colour effects with just a few tweaks to your usual crochet technique.

In this workshop we will learn the technique of Entrelac Tunisian Crochet. The original meaning of entrelac refers to a decorative pattern intended to resemble intricately interlaced cords or ribbons, often produced in stonework. The crocheted fabric produced from this technique looks like woven strips or patchwork but is actually worked as one whole piece. We should also warn you that it is very addictive!

Workshop only - Included in the price (£7.50) you get a 2-hour zoom workshop with no more than 10 participants, detailed instructions and patterns emailed to you and supporting video resources. PLUS you can do it all from the comfort of your own home! You will need to provide your own materials and equipment. We will be working with 3 colours of chunky yarn, a 9mm Tunisian Crochet hook and a 28cm extension cable.

Workshop plus yarn - included in this price (£19) you get everything listed above PLUS a kit posted out to you containing a printed version of the instructions and patterns, three 100g balls of chunky yarn (we will email you with a choice of colours once you book) and a little refreshments package. Postage is included in the price.

Workshop, yarn and equipmentincluded in this price (£24) you get everything listed above PLUS the hook and extension cable. Postage is included in the price.

This workshop is suitable for anyone who is already familiar with Tunisian Crochet, particularly Tunisian Simple Stitch. If you have never done Tunisian Crochet before we would recommend booking onto one of our Tunisian Crochet 101 sessions before booking on to this one. It’s not a problem if you’re left-handed as we are ambidextrous so can switch between hands as needed.

Once you book the workshop you will be sent your kit in the post (if ordered) and emailed all details for the zoom session. If you have never used Zoom before, don't be nervous. It's really simple and we can arrange a quick tutorial so you can have a practice before the big day!

Please note bookings will close 5 days prior to the event to ensure there is enough time to get kits posted out.

If you’ve got any queries or concerns, just drop us a line and we’ll sort you right out!
